BOILER OPERATION

Since the demise of the former City & Guilds
boiler operative qualification, there has been no nationally recognised
qualification the BOAS qualifications
fills that gap
A week long course comprising of four
days theory training culminating with a written examination and an independent
assessment.
The B.O.A.S. training course is recognised by HSE, insurers and
industry. It provides comprehensive qualifications for persons responsible for
industrial and commercial boiler plant. Two separate qualifications are
available, one for operators (BOAS’O’) and another for managers (BOAS’M’) of boiler plant.
Qualifications :-
Successful candidates will be
eligible to use the designations: ‘Certified Industrial Boiler Operator’
(CertIBO) in the case of operators, and Diploma in Boiler plant Operation
Management’ for managers (DipBOM)
