The training centre is located in the beautiful town of Llangollen North Wales. Llangollen is conveniently located just five miles from the Wrexham Chester dual carriageway which is directly linked to the national motorway system.

Course details

 

 

 

Training and Assessment will take place in the Henry Robertson suite which is situated in the restored station. Facilities have been arranged to view the locomotive workshops and boiler works for your interest.

 

 The BOAS programme is for operators and managers of industrial steam and hot water boilers, it is recommended by the H.S.E. for those wishing to achieve the national industry standard.

 

Two qualifications are available:

  • Certified Industrial Boiler Operator (Cert IBO)
  • Diploma in Boiler plant Operation Management (Dip BOM)

 

Both qualifications form part of the Boiler Operation Accredited  Scheme (BOAS) recognised by Health & Safety Executive, the UK Insurance Industry (SAfed) and industry members through the Combustion Engineering Association (CEA).
