Course details
Training and Assessment will take place in the Henry Robertson suite which is situated in the restored station. Facilities have been arranged to view the locomotive workshops and boiler works for your interest.
The BOAS programme is for operators and managers of industrial steam and hot water boilers, it is recommended by the H.S.E. for those wishing to achieve the national industry standard.
Two qualifications are available:
Both qualifications form part of the Boiler Operation Accredited Scheme (BOAS) recognised by Health & Safety Executive, the UK Insurance Industry (SAfed) and industry members through the Combustion Engineering Association (CEA).
Cost per delegate ( incl accreditation assessment) . £1,175.00
Training course only (no assessment) £850.00
All training materials, books and manuals are provided. Morning coffee, lunch and afternoon refreshments are included.
